Compile, preview, and export

Verified with Resrch 0.2.0Windows / macOS / Linux

  1. Open the project folder and select the main .typ or .tex source file.
  2. Start the matching Typst or LaTeX preview from the editor preview controls.
  3. Watch the preview status. A successful compile opens or refreshes the paginated preview surface.
  4. When compilation fails, read the displayed diagnostic before retrying.

Typst preview is produced by the native Typst pipeline. LaTeX preview is compiled through the local Core daemon; the first Tectonic-backed compile can take longer while support files are prepared.

The current verified desktop boundary provides preview artifacts and source-snapshot export capabilities. This guide does not promise a universal Export PDF button or automatic installation of the generated file. Use only the export or reveal action visible in your packaged release.
